Sensei Lee Bennett would like to welcome you to the Rising Sun Kyokushin Karate Club website. From the start we have based our club on the traditional Japanese style of karate called Kyokushin.
Sensei Lee himself has been training Kyokushin Karate for over twenty years and has been fighting and creating relationships with other clubs in different countries all over Europe.
He has succeeded in winning many titles, which include the Welsh and British Full Contact, Semi-Contact and Non-Contact. He’s also had the honour of representing Wales and Great Britain at International Level throughout Europe and the world.
He’s undergone training with many different British and Welsh coaches and has built up wide knowledge and skill learned from each high-grade Master.
Sensei Lee has also taken part in the Uchi-Dechi programme held in Sweden. The Uchi-Dechi programme is modelled on the original Japanese programme, involving students living in a dojo, undergoing training six hours a day, six days a week as required by the Kyokushin way.
Using his wide experience and his contacts in Kyokushin Karate, Sensei Lee is able to give all our members the ability to achieve great things with our high-energy Kyokushin Karate Club!
